The Burmese Bible School was founded in July of 2008 under the leadership of Mr. Myint Maung, the authorization of the Central

New York District of the Wesleyan Church and the approval of the International Center of the Wesleyan Church. The School welcomes students from around the world who desire to be trained in the Burmese language to become pastors, missionaries and ministry leaders to their own people.

The Burmese Bible School is located in Syracuse, NY, with classes conducted at the Lyncourt Wesleyan Church, 2626 Court Street.

To provide well trained pastors and missionaries, leaders and educators to serve the various ethnic groups of Myanmar (formally Burma) relocated in communities around the world with the ministry of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

To provide well educated leadership called by God to regenerate, revive and renew the existing churches and to plant new churches among all the tribes of Myanmar in fulfillment of the great commission. It is to prepare servant-leaders who will faithfully serve the Lord Jesus Christ with evangelical passion and ministry skill in providing biblically rooted and culturally relevant ministries to meet human need.

To equip Christians to evangelize the ethnic groups of Myanmar, by providing a quality education in the areas of Prayer, Biblical and Historical studies, Theology, Missiology, Evangelism, Discipleship, Church Growth, and Pastoral Care, with emphasis upon practical experience resulting in effective ministry to the whole person.
